Doc Wayne fuses sport and therapy to heal and strengthen youth. Servicing youth through billable sport-based group therapy and a competitive and therapeutic league, Doc Wayne provides youth an alternative to traditional talk therapy. Specializing in reaching society's most vulnerable youth, this organization teaches life skills and creates an inclusive and supportive environment to foster youth success. 

Dream Big! empowers girls through sports and physical activity. This organization help girls from low-income situations achieve their dreams by providing them with the basic items and fees necessary for them to play sports and participate in physical activities. They're all about helping these girls improve their overall health, education, and well-being. 

First Teacher is a community of parents and caregivers working together to prepare all our children for success in kindergarten and beyond. We believe we are our child's first teacher.

Future Chefs prepares urban teens for quality work and life after high school by providing early employment and education opportunities in the culinary & restaurant industries, transferable skills training, and ongoing coaching and support. 

Generation Citizen understands that our democracy is broken. But our young people can fix it if we teach them how to participate. GC empowers youth nationwide to make their voices heard. 

Level Ground Mixed Martial Arts couples athletic training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Boxing with mentorship, academic advancement, and employment opportunities for urban youth. The program targets youth facing a disproportionate level of violence, poverty, and lack of access to education.

MassLEAP is dedicated to building and supporting spaces for youth to experience the transformative power of their own voices in community with one another. They exist as a platform for young people, artist-educators and organizers to foster positive youth development through spoken word poetry forums. 

Careers in the TV and video production industry can be out of reach for teens in under-resourced communities. PressPass TV provides training, programming, and employment opportunities for young people in video production.

Resilient Coders is a free, volunteer-based program focused on making web technology more available to kids who might not otherwise be exposed to it. Each student builds a website, coached along by a web professional.

Rightside Shirts is all about imagination. They're on a mission to promote creativity and raise money for youth art education by selling goods designed by local kids. 

Science Club for Girls fosters excitement, confidence, and literacy in STEM for girls from underrepresented communities by providing free, experiential programs and maximizing meaningful interactions with women mentors in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. 

Science from Scientists gets kids excited about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). SfS traveling staff scientists work alongside classroom teachers throughout the school year to serve as mentors and improve students’ attitudes and understanding of fundamental science. 

Higher education enables independence and better quality of life. Sitters Without Borders helps low-income parents attend college by providing volunteer babysitting services.

Small Fry is a social enterprise that creates economic opportunity for young people and small businesses in under-resourced urban communities by connecting youth with local small business owners in need of online marketing. 

WeThrive is an entrepreneurial mentoring program that pairs college students with middle school and high school students in low-income households. Youth participants create ventures of their own, earning real revenues but most importantly learning life skills and gaining a near-peer role model.

Y2Y Harvard Square is a student-run overnight shelter, employing a youth-to-youth model to provide a safe and affirming environment for young adults experiencing homelessness. Y2Y Harvard Square is run by young adults, for young adults. Staff are advised by a board of academics, community leaders, and public sector partners. 

Youth Harbors serves homeless, unaccompanied high school students who statistically have only a 27% chance of graduating from high school. This organization provides help young people grow into self-sufficient adults by providing housing assistance, an engaged adult support network, and individualized life skills development lessons so they can find a safe home, graduate, and break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. 

Youth CITIES (Youth Creating Impact Through Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability) empowers students to innovate and drive change in their communities by applying entrepreneurial principals and creative problem-solving skills.

Youth HUB is a youth and community development platform with a mission to dramatically improve employment and career readiness for local under-resourced youth.

More Than Words is a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school, to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.  

NBA Math Hoops was developed and launched by Learn Fresh, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving student engagement & achievement through the creation and distribution of innovative, fun, and effective educational tools. It's a fast-paced board game and mobile app that helps students learn fundamental math skills through direct engagement with real statistics of their favorite NBA and WNBA players.

Bikes Not Bombs uses bicycles as a vehicle for social change. They reclaim thousand of bicycles each yearto create local and global programs that provide skill development, jobs, and sustainable transportation. Their programs mobilize youth & adults to leaders in community transformation. 

EPHAS (Every Person Has A Story) teaches photography and storytelling with global partners, offering participants a voice to influence knowledge, empathy, and action. 

Latino STEM Alliance partners with schools, private industry, community groups to bring STEM experiences (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to underserved youth that otherwise would not have such an opportunity. 

utilizes music as an intervention tool. The orchestra community is a place where members must listen to one another and work together to achieve success. This nonprofit’s goal is to strengthen youth competencies that promote pro-social, anti-egressive, and civically minded behavior—problem solving & leadership skills, too—by way of music education.

Learning Unlimited believes every student to have access to exciting educational experiences. They work to spread programs as broadly as possible, and to ensure that all programs are either low-cost or completely free.

SolSolution makes it easy and cost-effective for schools to switch to solar power. They find ways to reduce costs, demonstrate a commitment to sustainability, and reinvest in the education of our community’s children. 

Technology for Autism Now (TAN) works to improve the lives of children with Autism and their families by providing innovative technology solutions. TAN’s vision is to create an interactive online community where parents and caregivers can share knowledge and resources. They are also developing a broad range of mobile applications to facilitate communication, education, & social skills in order to empower those with disorders.
