These kids are literally changing the world.

On Wednesday December 10th, Generation Citizen was trending on Twitter. Their annual Civics Day at the State House brought tech professionals, students, and community members together for an amazing day of presentations, inspiring speeches, awards, and plans to change the world we live in--not ten years from now, but today.  And I was lucky enough to attend as a judge!

Gillian Pressman, Greater Boston Site Director, has put together a killer highlight reel that captures the wonderful energy and hopefulness of the day. And I quote: "please feel free to share far and wide!" So here it is.

In addition, Gillian's scheduling follow-up conversations with many of the judges to start thinking through next steps and ways to approach the questions we are grappling with:

How can we spread the action civics movement in Boston and MA?

How can we capture more hearts and minds around the value of action civics?

If you have any thoughts or insights on these questions, please leave a comment, tweet at us, drop us an email, or send a carrier pigeon (it's still a thing, apparently). The awesome folks at Generation Citizen would love to connect with you in the new year.
