#TUGG10: A Look at 2010 with EverTrue

A Dedication to Fostering Innovation for Social Good

With Dana Samuels as Executive Director, TUGG took off in 2010. The 5th Annual Wine Party brought together over 350 people from Boston’s tech community and helped to launch three incredible nonprofits that continue their great work today. In addition to the Wine Party, Dana, Jeff and Hemant organized several other events that year and engaged many new tech companies to get involved with TUGG. One of those companies was EverTrue.

Since 2010, EverTrue has been empowering advancement teams with intuitive web and mobile software. Their platform provides fundraisers with highly accurate data accessible in a cloud-based interface—built to help institutions grow their donor pipelines and increase giving participation.

With EverTrue, fundraisers get the answers they need in seconds. They surface existing institutional data and combine it with insights from third-party sources such as Zillow, LinkedIn, and Facebook, allowing fundraisers to better understand their constituency and discover new prospects in a searchable, collaborative platform. EverTrue is headquartered in Boston, MA and has been involved with TUGG from their founding.

"EverTrue's involvement with TUGG has always been a natural collaboration because of our mutual dedication to fostering innovation for social good," said Brent Grinna, founder and CEO of EverTrue. "From partnering on the first TUGG 'microfederated' event with our Raise The Rim basketball tournament, to many memorable wine and tequila nights, we're thrilled to be a part of the group's history and join TUGG in raising a glass to toast ten great years of inspiring growth in the Boston tech community."   - Brent Grinna, CEO, Evertrue
